Here’s another one today that displays the presence of a collective preoccupation with the oil markets. Importantly, the latest cartoon take on markets shows that the emphasis in the fever for financial assets has advanced from stocks in 2000 to real estate and oil. When "The Born Loser”says the “trend is always upward,” we can be sure that the trend in gas prices is about where the NASDAQ was in March 2000.
